The EDU-Tagset is the set of tags (keywords) that will enable course-seach engines (course-crawlers) to find courses, seminars or workshops on the websites of course organizers.
It is very similar to the Event-Tagset , the only difference is that the ”main tag” is not “EVtagset” but “EDUtagset”:
EXAMPLE
A Swedish language course in Stockholm on 17th of december 2010 would be tagged as follows:
17 12 2010 edutagset se stockholm swedish <…>
This syntax enables – like with the EVtagset – also broader search:
A search for “12 2010 edutagset se” with “swedish” would retrieve ALL Swedish language courses in December 2010 in Sweden
A search for “2011 edutagset se stockholm” with “swedish” would help a person whose goal it is to visit beautiful Stockholm next year – and wants to combine it with a Swedish language course – no matter in which month.
